Yet in another shocking incident, police recovered the body of a minor boy who was allegedly tortured to death at Amkhola village in Taltoli upazila of Barguna on Tuesday evening, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Rabiul Awal (10), a madrasah student and son of Dulal Mridha of Shonakata.
Two days back, Rabiul's neighbour Miraz, who used to catch fish at Lutrar Khal adjacent to Rabiul's house, threatened him, alleging that his fishes were stolen from his net, said victim's father Dulal. Later, Rabiul went missing on Monday evening, he added.
On Tuesday afternoon, a local youth found the body of Rabiul, and informed the family members.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to General Hospital for autopsy, said Police Super Bijoy Basak.
