Asia Securities Limited was re-launched Thursday with a promise to strengthen its operation.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) President Shakil Rizvi formally inaugurated the re-launching of the brokerage house in the city.
The DSE president said Asia Securities would comply with the securities rules properly for the sake of the stock market and the investors.
He hoped that the brokerage house, one of the oldest members of the DSE, will deliver services to its clients properly.
The DSE president urged the investors to be more careful before making any investment in the overheated stock market.
He also urged the government to take immediate steps to cool down the market by offloading the shares of 26 state-owned enterprises.
Asia Securities chairman Masudur Rahman, managing director Iftekhar Ahmed Khan and other officials were present at the ceremony.
