Attack on journo: Shikder Hospital suspends doctor

Expressing sorrow over the attack on Prothom Alo reporter Shishir Morol, the authorities of ZH Sikder Women's Medical College Hospital Wednesday suspended its doctor Shafiul Azam in this connection, reports UNB.

"The hospital authorities are sorry and disheartened over the assault on Shishir Morol," said a press release signed by the medical college principal, Maj Gen (retd) Bijoy Kumar Sarker.

Mentioning that a three-member probe body, headed by a professor of the hospital, had been formed immediately after the incident, the release said Shafiul was suspended for the sake of investigation.
