Bangladesh A made it to the final of the T-20 Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 after defeating India A in the semi-final in a sensational super over at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha.

Winning the toss, India A captain Jitesh Sharma asked Bangladesh A to bat, who managed 194 in the twenty overs, losing six wickets.

India A got their first wicket as Gurjapneet Singh dismissed Jishan Alam for 26, breaking the 43 run partnership of Alam and Habibur Rahman Sohan.

However, Sohan, the top scorer of Bangladesh A, played an excellent innings of 65 from 46 balls, smashing eight boundaries.

Abu Haider's innings came second to Sohan's, as he hit seven boundaries to 48, out of 18 balls.

During India A's chase, pacer Abdul Gaffar Saqlain got the crucial wicket of 14-year-old batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was out at 38 after facing 15 balls.

Priyansh Arya played some fearless shots scoring 44 from 23 balls, before southpaw spinner Rakibul Hasan's delivery found his bat, only to be nabbed by Jishan Alam, who took three catches in total at the match. Suryavanshi's catch was one of those.

Among Bangladesh A's bowlers, Saqlain was the most economical in his four overs, giving out a little over 6 runs per over and no extras.

But, Ripon Mondol -- who was brought back into the attack by captain Akbar Ali -- became the Player of the Match due to his two superb yorkers at the start. Two wickets fell in those first two balls and no runs came from the rest of the four.

Pakistan A, the only unbeaten side in the group stage, gave Sri Lanka A a target of 154 in the other semi-final on Friday, till the filing of this report.
