BCS: 44th viva scrapped, 45th written papers to be re-evaluated

The Public Service Commission, or PSC, has canceled the viva exam for the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service examination and made important decisions regarding the next two civil service exams, according to reports published by agencies and online portals.
These decisions were announced in a public notice on Monday.
The commission has decided  to re-evaluate the written exam papers of the 45th BCS through a third examiner.
The PSC also decided to republish the preliminary results of the 46th BCS examination.
It stated that the preliminary results of the 46th BCS examination were published on May 9, 2024, with 10,638 candidates passing the test for written examinations.
However, a decision has been made to announce the results again by considering an equal number of candidates eligible for the written test, alongside the already selected candidates, with the aim of removing possible discrimination, the release added.
The PSC stated that all issues related to suspected question paper leaks of the 44th, 45th, and 46th BCS exams, as well as various non-cadre exams, were discussed with utmost importance at meetings with the newly-appointed chairman and eight members of the commission.
