Thirty-three cases and zero death were reported from Covid-19 in Bangladesh on Wednesday.
With the latest daily counts, the total fatalities from coronavirus reached 29,127 and the total caseload crossed 1.95 million since the virus was detected in the country in March 2020, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported.
A total of 6,182 samples were tested until 8:0am on the day while 6,217 samples were collected during the same period, the DGHS data revealed.
However, the Covid-19 test positivity rate was 0.53 per cent on Wednesday against the previous day's 0.54 per cent,
On the other hand, a total of 249 people recovered from the coronavirus disease in the country during the last 24-hour reporting time.
