Biman rearranges its food menu

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has rearranged its food menu for the summer season starting from March 26 for business class passengers of Dhaka-London-Dhaka non-stop flights.

For all the international flights, Biman will serve food for diabetic patients and children.

The announcement was made at a programme held at the Biman Flight Catering Centre (BFCC) on Thursday. Biman managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) AM Mosaddique Ahmed inaugurated the programme at the BFCC.

Biman will continue rearranging the menu, music, movies and games as part of its innovations in services to its passengers in every three months.

Mr Ahmed said the passengers of non-stop London flights will be able to select food from A la carte menu. Besides, the business class passengers will get the facility to avail of food during flight under All Day Dining.  

At present, BFCC has been supplying food to Malaysia Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Turkish Airlines and Dragon Air. Besides, 14 foreign airlines have been getting facilities of casual meal and cabin dressing from BFCC.

BFCC now prepares 8,500 meals per day which reaches to 12,000 during Hajj time.
