He said they have already got confirmation for operating the direct flight, scheduled on September 10.

"We have got confirmation for the September 10 flight. We hope we will get confirmation for other three flights." He said last year Biman operated two direct Hajj flights from Sylhet to Jeddah.

Biman started its first Hajj flight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on August 27. It will continue till September 28. The return flights will start from October 8 and continue till November 8.

Since the start of Hajj flights, Biman has so far carried over 14,000 pilgrims through 33 dedicated and six scheduled flights.
