BNP activist hurt in police firing

RAJSHAHI, Mar 1 (UNB): A BNP activist received bullet injuries as police opened fire on him while he was trying to flee after hurling petrol bombs at two buses in Shirail bus terminal area of the city on Sunday morning.
The injured was identified as Rinku, a BNP activist.
Police said hartal supporters torched two buses of 'Hanif Paribahan' by hurling petrol bombs in the bus terminal around 6:00 am.
Rinku received bullet injuries on his leg as he was trying to flee the scene, said Alamgir Hossain, OC of Boalmari thana.The injured was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
