BNP calls half-day hartal in Bogra Sunday

Opposition BNP has formally announced 4 days of progarmmes including half-day hartal in Bogra on Sunday in protest against the attack on its activists on way to the grand rally in Rajshahi, leaving a BNP activist dead and about 200 injured on Wednesday, reports UNB.
BNP secretary general Khandaker Delwar Hossain announced the programmes at a press briefing at the party's Nayapaltan central office Thursday afternoon.
Zakir Hossain, a local BNP leader of Sherpur in Bogra, was killed in the attack.
The other programmes included holding of namaz-e-janaza of Zakir Hossain at Altafunnechha playground at Bogra Thursday, Gaibeana Janaza of Zakir across the country Friday and protest rallies and demonstrations at district headquarters on Saturday.
