The BNP-led 20-party alliance termed 'breach of discipline, out of jurisdictions and audacious' on Saturday the recent remarks made by the chiefs of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), police and Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) over the opposition's ongoing movement.

In a statement, the alliance urged those law enforcers having political desire to do politics after putting their uniforms off and quitting jobs, reports UNB.

The statement, signed by BNP vice chairman Selima Rahman, observed that the Inspector General of Police (IGPP) and the Rab DG at a programme on Friday at Mithapukur in Rangpur made political

statements like politicians.

Earlier, BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi also issued a statement on behalf of the 20-party alliance on the same issue. He, however, withdrew it after BNP chairperson's Gulshan office issued another statement signed by Selima Rahman on behalf of the 20-party alliance.
