"Politics of Hasina and her Awami League party died in the country, but was buried in Delhi. Therefore, we will find those who are trying to reestablish the fascist Hasina and her allies. We will not allow their politics," he added.
He made the remarks at a procession of the DNCC BNP at Pallabi, in the capital. The procession was held in memory of the martyrs of the July mass uprising.
"We treat this interim government as an election time interim administration. Therefore, the first and foremost duty of this government is to hold an election," he added.
Salahuddin Ahmed criticised the political parties who demand proportionate election in the next parliament. "People of the country don't understand the PR election system, nor want elections in the process," he added.
"If someone tries to prolong their power by postponing the elections, then they are trying to bring back fascism again," he added.
Hinting at Jamaat, Salahuddin Ahmed said, "A party has always done politics of confusion. Those who have gone beyond the sentiments of the people and opposed independence, are now trying to fish in murky water."
"Those who want elections and local elections through PR methods have bad intentions," he added.
If the July Charter is not signed by this July, the consensus commission and the interim government will be responsible, he added.
