BTRC hires firm to audit Banglalink

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has hired a firm to run a long-awaited audit on mobile phone operator Banglalink.
For the job, the telecom regulator signed an agreement worth Tk877million with Masih Muhith Haque & Co, a leading chartered accountancy firm.
Aftab Md Rashedul Wadud, director (Finance, accounts and revenue division) of BTRC, and Masih Malik Chowdhury signed the contract on behalf of their respective sides.
