Bus Rapid Transit: Gulistan-Gazipur AC bus service from today

The new air-conditioned (AC) bus service of the Bus Rapid Transit line will launch an expanded route today, connecting Gulistan Zero Point to Shibpur-Gazipur via the Elevated Expressway, reports UNB.

The updated service will include key stops at Gulistan, Shahbagh, Farmgate, Airport, College Gate, Board Bazar, Bhogra, and Shibbari, according to a press release from the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).

The AC bus service was initially launched on December 1, offering routes from the Airport to Shibpur, Gazipur. This expansion aims to provide a faster, more comfortable public transit option for commuters navigating the heavily congested areas of Dhaka and Gazipur.
