Businesses for judicial probe on Azad's arrest

A delegation of the business community Tuesday met Home Minister Sahara Khatun and demanded judicial inquiry into the allegation against Azad Group Chairman Abul Kalam Azad, who was arrested Thursday night, reports UNB.
The delegation led by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Annisul Huq also met Commerce Minister Faruq Khan and State Minister for Home Shamsul Haq Tuku and expressed concern at the arrest of Azad.
The delegation included leaders from Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) and Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).
