CII delegation meets Speaker in Delhi

The Indian entrepreneurs Monday expressed eagerness to invest in the country's power and agriculture sectors and providing training to Bangladeshi youths to turn them into skilled human resources, reports BSS.
The views were expressed when a delegation of Confederation of Industries in India (CII) called on Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at the latter's hotel room in New Delhi, India, according to a message received here.
The Speaker is now in the Indian Capital to join the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the meeting, they discussed various issues including expansion of trade and business between the two countries and the Indian investment in the Bangladesh's Power and agricultural sectors.
The speaker told the delegation members that excellent investment-friendly atmosphere has been prevailing in Bangladesh at present and the Indian entrepreneurs can take the advantage by investing in Bangladesh's very prospective sectors.
