A fire incident took place at Urban Restaurant in Jatrabari area in the capital around 6:00 am on Sunday.
However, there was no report of casualties.
Ten units of fire-fighters rushed to the spot and doused the flame within an hour.
A fire official said that the cause of the fire and extent of losses could not be ascertained immediately.
The interior decoration of the restaurant's ground floor and first floors were completely gutted due to the flame, said a staff of the restaurant.
