CNG auto-rickshaw kills youth in city

A young man died at Jatrabari in the capital on Monday, as a running CNG auto-rickshaw hit him. The deceased was identified as Md Aslam Hawlader.

The fatal incident happened at around 12:15 pm. The CNG auto-rickshaw hit him when he was crossing the road near Saddam Market, leaving him seriously wounded.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the attending doctor declared him dead soon after his arrival at the hospital. The body was kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.

A police official of Jatrabari Police Station told the FE that Md Aslam Hawlader worked as a computer operator of Imperial Ideal School in the area.
