In a front page report headlined “Toll fixing shortly aftrer Eid, opening in June”, published in the April 29 issue of The Financial Express, it was reported that proposed toll rates of the Padma Bridge would be '1.5 per cent higher than the existing ferry rates'.
Actually, the toll rates have been proposed at 1.5 times higher than the existing ferry rates.
The inadvertent mistake is regretted.
