Country brand-named 'Beautiful Bangladesh'

The country has been brand-named 'Beautiful Bangladesh (Rupomoy Bangladesh)' to the world community to attract tourists to its panoramic landscape and seascape and broaden the nation's image across the globe, reports UNB.
The rising sun over a blue sea forms the country's logo that indicates the emergence of an independent Bangladesh with new promises and potential.
Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed inaugurated the country' branding slogan and logo at a function organised at Hotel Sonargaon Saturday evening by the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry.
Briefly addressing the launching event, the CA said the country branding primarily attracts tourists and also attracts foreign investment and shows to the outer world potentialities in various sectors and services.
At the function the CA distributed crest among members of the Country Branding Committee for their contribution to developing and preparing the branding slogan and logo.
They are Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed, painter Hashem Khan, writer Prof Syed Manzurul Islam and chairman of the Parjaton Corporation Shafiq Alam Mehdi.
