Danish minister Mogens arrives

Danish Minister for Trade and Development Cooperation Mogens Jensen arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday on a three-day visit, reports UNB.

The minister is accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the Danish Ministry of Employment, and officials from the Danish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Jensen visited DANIDA-supported development projects working in agriculture and rural roads in climate vulnerable areas of Barisal on Tuesday, said an official.

He will also visit the RMG factory Aeko-Tex Group in Gazipur. At Aeko-Tex, the minister will have a chance to see how a factory, implementing CSR initiatives, is also able to gain valuable business advantages.

Jensen will attend a conference, titled 'Bangladesh - Framing the Future' a High Level Conference on Ready Made Garments and Beyond' in the city on Thursday
