Police arrest three

Police took away on Saturday three persons for questioning regarding double murders from Dhanmondi area of the capital on Friday.
However, the police are hunting to nab the suspect housemaid who is still at large.
The victims were identified as Afroza Begum, 65, and her 18-year-old house assistant Bithi.
Afroza was the mother-in-law of Team Tex Group Managing Director and Creative Group Deputy Managing Director Kazi Monir Uddin Tarim.
Police had recovered the bodies with throats slashed at a flat on the fifth floor of a building on road number 28 near Kabi Nazrul Institute on Friday.
The arrested persons are Bacchu-a personal assistant of Tarim's father-in-law, an electrician named Belayet and a cleaner.
Tarim told the media that Bachchu got the new housemaid through a betel leaf trader of the neighbourhood and the woman is behind the double murder.
He said money, three mobile phones, savings certificates, jewellery and other valuables were missing from the house.
"We are hunting to nab the housemaid," duty officer of Dhanmondi Police Station Khairul Islam told the FE on Saturday.
