Donation to Zakat Fund tax-exempted

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has exempted from taxes the donations to the Zakat Management Fund (ZMF), a public-welfare entity.
Taxpayers would enjoy a waiver on payment of taxes on the amount donated to the ZMF, according to a Statutory Regulatory Order issued on Sunday.
The exemption would remain valid until June 30, 2024.
