Eastland Insurance PLC. has been awarded the prestigious- 'IDRA Insurance Excellence Award 2025' in the non-life insurance category, introduced for the first time in Bangladesh by the Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA).
Special Assistant of Finance Adviser Anisuzzaman Chowdhury handed over the Excellence Award to Mr Mohammad Salim, Chief Executive Officer of Eastland Insurance PLC, on Thursday in a ceremony arranged by the IDRA at a city hotel, says a press release.
Mrs Nazma Mobarek, Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, Dr. M. Aslam Alam, Chairman, IDRA and distinguished Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and CEOs of all life and non-life Insurance companies were also present in the award giving ceremony.
