A court in the city allowed Tuesday the FBI personnel to take different samples for conducting forensic test in their lab, reports BSS.
US Federal Bureau of Investigation collected the samples from the murder site of Avijit Roy.
"The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Dhaka today gave approval to giving some 10 major samples to the FBI team upon a petition seeking its consent to this end," Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Detective Branch (south) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said.
"We filed the petition as FBI personnel expressed their desire to take some evidences with them to conduct test in their lab," he also said.
A bdnews24.com report adds: Rafida Ahmed Bonya, the wife of slain Avijit Roy, has told her father-in-law she could easily identify the killers if she saw them again.
