Fire breaks out at furniture factory

A fire broke out at a furniture market in the capital's Panthapath area, gutting a warehouse and a factory, reports bdnews24.com.

The fire broke out at a factory behind the furniture shop around 1:00 pm. The shopkeepers called the fire brigade immediately. Fire brigade control room in-charge Enayet Hossain said that five fire service units brought the fire under control at 1:35 pm. No casualties were reported, he said. The extent of damage could not be estimated immediately.
