Five-day Ijtema ends with Saad followers’ Akheri Munajat

GAZIPUR, Feb 19 (UNB): The five-day 54th Biswa Ijtema concluded following Akheri Munajat (final prayer) with the participation of followers of Indian Islamic preacher Maulana Muhammad Saad Al Kandhalvi on the bank of the Turag River in Tongi on Tuesday morning.
Indian Maulana Shamim Ahmed conducted the second phase Akheri Munajat from 11:45 am to 12:02 pm.
Indian Maulana Iqbal Hafiz conducted the Hedayati Bayan after Fazar prayers which was translated into Bangla by Maulana Syed Osama Islam.
Biswa Ijtema with the participation of the followers of Maulana Muhammad Saad Al Kandhalvi started on Sunday which was extended by another day as heavy rain disrupted the congregation.
Earlier on Saturday morning, the Akheri Munajat of the followers of Maulana Jubair Hassan was held on the same ground which was started on Friday morning.
