Flood situation improving

The overall flood situation is improving across the country following recession of water in major rivers, report agencies.

Flood situation has improved in the districts of Kurigram, Bogra, Sirajganj, Munshiganj and Faridpur.

The officials of Bangladesh Water Development Board said flood situation is expected to improve in Bogra, Sirajganj, Jamalpur, Tangail, Shariatpur, Madaripur, Munshiganj, Rajbari, Faridpur, and Manikganj by next 48 hours.

Besides, water level in Brammaputra-Jamuna, Gonga-Padma and Meghna basin will continue to come down.
