Forecast for further fall in temp

The Bangladesh Meteo-rological Department has forecast a further decline in daytime temperatures by 1.0 to 2.0 degrees Celsius, coupled with rain and hailstorm, countrywide.
The Met office on Monday said the ongoing mild heatwave in several districts in the south-western and central parts of the country might abate due to rain and wind.
It expects rain or thundershowers, accompanied by squally winds, in many places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Rain might fall in Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions, with the possibility of hailstorm in isolated places, according to weathermen.
The Met office also predicted abatement of the heatwave sweeping over Gopalganj, Jashore and Chuadanga districts.
Daytime temperatures are expected to fall by 1-2°C over the next two days, while night-time temperatures might remain nearly unchanged.
Meteorologist Dr Sadekul Alam said low pressure might form in the Bay of Bengal this month to potentially develop into a cyclone.
Rain and hailstorms are expected to continue in various places for the next week.
In the last 24 hours, Feni witnessed the maximum rainfall of 138 millimetres, followed by Chattogram with 128mm, Sylhet with 90mm and Madaripur with 69mm.
The maximum temperature recorded was 37.6°C in Jashore, while the minimum temperature was 19.7°C in Sylhet on Monday until 6:00 pm, according to the Met office.
