The Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) has projected that the country's export receipts, import payments and inward remittances might increase at the end of December 2002.
In its July-September 'Quarterly Review', the country's elite trade body said earnings from the country's merchandise exports are expected to reach US$ 4,430 million.
On the other hand, Bangladesh's import value might also stand at $7,260 million at the end of the 2nd quarter (October-December) of the current fiscal year.
The inward remittances are expected to reach $1,590 by the December-end, the MCCI's projected.
The rate of point-to-point inflation might increase to 8.80 per cent at the end of December, 2022.
However, the state-run Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) has calculated the country's point-to-point inflation at 8.85 per cent in November, 2022.
