Four Covid cases, no death

Four Covid-19 cases and zero death were reported in Bangladesh on Thursday.
With the latest daily counts, the total fatalities from coronavirus reached 29,127 and the total caseloads crossed 1.95 million since the virus was detected first in the country in March 2020, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported.
Some 2,212 samples were tested until 8:0am on the day while 2,226 samples were collected during the same period, the DGHS data revealed.
However, the Covid-19 test positivity rate inched down to 0.18 per cent on the day against the previous day's rate at 0.60 per cent,
On the other hand, a total of 257 people recovered from the coronavirus disease in the country during the last 24-hour reporting time.
The rate of recovery was 97.13 per cent on the day, it added.
On the other hand, the rate of fatalities from coronavirus disease remained static at 1.49 per cent.
Until Thursday over 1.89 million people had recovered from the deadly disease.
However, more than 14 million samples have, so far, been tested in the country, according to official data.
