Fuel stations closed after oil price hike

Most petrol pumps across the country were abruptly closed at 8:00 Monday night following the government's announcement of the fuel price hike leaving scores of vehicles stranded at refilling stations, reports UNB.
Closure of the refilling stations came without prior notice causing difficulties to many motorists.
Motor vehicles were seen in long queues at the Asad Gate refilling station in Dhaka city at 10pm.
