Govt officials get one month more to submit wealth statement

The deadline for submitting wealth statements by government officials and employees has been extended by a month until December 31 from November 30, reports UNB.

Senior Secretary of the ministry Md Mokhles Ur Rahman announced the decision at a press briefing held at the secretariat on Sunday.

"No one has submitted wealth statement in the last 16 years. Many people do not understand how to submit it. Therefore, the time will be extended until December 31,"he said.

A circular will be issued in this regard soon, he said.
