Govt to build rail, road links with China: Ashraf

CHITTAGONG, Dec 12: Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister and general secretary of ruling Awami League Syed Ashraful Islam said Saturday the govt is considering rail and road connection with China through Myanmar to make the proposed deep sea port financially viable.
He said this during an opinion exchange meeting with the leaders of Awami League Chittagong city, north and south district units.
