Chief of the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Commissioner Harun or Rashid has been transferred.
He has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner (Crime and Opera-tions) at DMP Headquarters.
This information was revealed in an office order signed by DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman on Wednesday.
The office order also included the transfer orders of two other officials of DMP.
Additional Commiss-ioner Md Ashrafuzzaman of DMP's Logistics, Finance and Procurement Department has been made the new chief of DB in DMP, and Additional Commissioner Dr Khandaker Mohiuddin of C&O has been transferred to the Logistics, Finance and Procurement Department, the order read.
