Hearing on ACC notice to Hasina begins

The hearing on a writ petition challenging the legality of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) notice asking detained former premier Sheikh Hasina to submit her wealth statement began at the High Court Wednesday, reports UNB.
A bench, comprising Justice Shah Abu Nayeem Mominur Rahman and Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury, adjourned the hearing until November 6 after a brief argument and counter-argument by Rafique-ul
Huq, the chief counsel for Hasina, and top government attorney Fida M Kamal.
