Home Ministry to finalise missions, visions soon

The Ministry of Home Affairs Thursday asked its attached offices to finalise their missions, visions and citizens charters by July 20, reports BSS.
The decision was taken at a meeting with Home Secretary Mohammad Abdul Karim in the chair, an official handout said.
The meeting also reviewed the activities of the ministry's audit cell constituted earlier to ensure transparency and accountability of the government expenditure.
It also decided to formulate "advance implementation plan" for quick and proper implementation of different development projects, the handout said.
Additional Home Secretary, joint secretaries, director general of Ansar and VDP, director general of Fire Service and Civil Defence, Inspector general of Prison and other concerned officials were present at the meeting.
