IFS applications to help companies achieve better business performance

ICE Technologies & Services Ltd, a local IT company, is striving to introduce 'IFS applications' among the corporate clients in Bangladesh aiming to automate the company affairs in a simplified way.
The company is the local distributor of Sweden-based IFS, one of the world's leading providers of component-based business software.
"IFS component architecture provides solutions that are easier to implement, run and upgrade the business functions of a company and we are working sincerely to introduce the world-class IT facilities in our corporate world," Chief Executive Officer of ICE Technologies, Rubaiyet Jamil said.
He said IFS, launched in 2006 for the first time in Bangladesh, has already attracted many companies and hopefully, a good number of companies will use the IFS Applications to achieve better business performance and competitive advantage by the end of this year.
"One of our major objectives has been to pro duce applications that are not only rich in business functionality, but also have user interfaces that enhance employee productivity," said deputy general manager of the company Zahid Khan.
Marketing manager of the company Saiful Islam said IFS has over 0.5 million global users across seven key vertical sectors --aerospace & defence, automotive, industrial manufacturing, process industries, construction and facilities management, utilities and telecommunications.
He said IFS Applications provide extended ERP (enterprise resources planning) functionality, including supply chain management (SCM), enterprise asset management (EAM), corporate performance management capabilities, maintenance, repair and overhaul, product lifecycle management (PLM) and customer relationship management (CRM).
