SM Hamidul Huq, an additional secretary of the government and the immediate past chief of the Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division (IMED), has been suspended for his "misconduct".
An official order, issued on Thursday, said that Mr Hamidul Huq has been suspended (temporarily) under the Civil Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 2018 for his "misconduct".
Earlier, Mr Hamidul was made an officer on special duty (OSD) on July 16 from the IMED. He previously served as the chief of the IMED.
