The internet will remain disrupted for two and a half hours every day during the remaining Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations across the country in a bid to prevent the question paper leak, reports UNB.
The internet will remain disrupted from 8am to 10:30am on the exam days from February 12 to February 24. The internet service will also remain suspended from 12 pm to 2:30 pm on February 18.
Meanwhile, the internet service remained suspended for half an hour across the country on Sunday morning following a directive from Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
The telecom regulator took the initiative to keep the mobile internet service suspended following the widespread allegations of question paper leak of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations through different social media apps, said sources at mobile phone operators.
