JCD begins distribution of forms

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of BNP, began on Saturday distributing nomination papers for the upcoming Dhaka University central students' union (DUCSU) and hall union elections at the party's Naya Paltan central office, reports UNB.

"We are ready to participate in the elections although our seven-point demand is not met yet," said JCD DU unit president Al Mehedi Talukder while talking to reporters at Madhur Canteen on Du campus.

Mehedi also said, "We are distributing nomination forms according to our norms. We hope the age limit won't be a factor here."

He also said they will collect nomination papers very soon from the hall along with their panel.

Mahfuz Chowdhury, convener committee member of DU JCD Masterda Surya Sen Hall unit, also collected nomination paper.
