Fariha Nusrat Zerin (Purba), a student of Honours course in English at Jahangirnagar University, passed away at 1.00am on Tuesday at a private hospital in the city.
She was 22.
She had been suffering from allergy-related complications and DIC infection.
Late Fariha was associated with scores of cultural activities on the campus. She was daughter of poet-journalist Shihab Sarkar, Associate Editor, The Financial Express. A brilliant student, she was a popular face at Jahangirnagar University.
Fariha was laid to rest at Azimpur Graveyard after Namaj-e-Janaza at Central Road at Dhanmondi.
