Justice Tofazzal Hossain Khan (TH Khan), a veteran jurist of Bangladesh Supreme Court, died of old-age complications at a hospital in the capital Sunday, reports BSS.
He was 101.
"He breathed his last at 5pm today at Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in the capital," said Secretary of Supreme Court lawyer's association Barrister Ruhul Kuddus Kajal.
TH Khan, also former minister, was born on October 21 in 1920 at Haluaghat Upazila in Mymensingh District.
He joined as a lawyer at High Court division on March 14, 1951. He also served as the President of Supreme Court Lawyers Association in 1974.
The namaz-e-janaza of the deceased will be held on the Supreme Court Bar Association premises today morning.
