Khaleda leaves for UK, US tomorrow

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia leaves here tomorrow (Saturday) for London en route to USA to further strengthen her party's relations with the United Kingdom and the United States, reports UNB.
As opposition leader it will be Khaleda's first ever visit to the two powerful western countries.
In December last year, she visited China and met with senior leaders of the Chinese government.
Former Prime Minister Khaleda is scheduled to meet with political leaders and government officials in the UK and USA during her two-week tour.
In London, she will meet her elder son Tarique Rahman.
After staying for one week in London, she will leave for the US on May 21.
The BNP chairperson will stay in US for about a week and is scheduled to return home on May 29.
