KHULNA, Nov 11 (BSS): Khulna is ready to welcome Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday for her first public rally in the district after over four-and-a-half years.
Her last visit to Khulna was on March 3 in 2018.
The premier is scheduled to address a mammoth public rally to be held at Khulna Circuit House Ground ahead of the 12th national election.
During the visit, she will inaugurate 24 development schemes and lay foundation stones of five others including 10 school and college.
The premier is likely to hold a view-exchange meeting with government officials of Khulna division, said additional deputy commissioner (General) Pulak Kumar Mondal today.
Enthusiasm and festivity has been seen among the local leaders and activists of Awami League and its front and associate bodies.
