On the sidelines, Maces also organised the award-giving ceremony for its 4th "personal statement writing" competition.

This year's competition was adjudged by professionals from eight universities -- University of Glasgow, University of Birmingham, Queen Marry University of London, City University of London, CATS Academy Cambridge, University of Nottingham, University of York and Coventry University.

Top 30 participants were invited to the award giving ceremony where top three were awarded.

This year's awardees are - Areeba Ali from DPS STS School, the 1st Runner Up - Riyana Afroze from DPS STS School and the 2nd Runner Up - Rafiza Mirza of South Breeze School.

Maces has created a platform for the exchange of ideas between Bangladeshi students and foreign universities through arranging the meet.
