Expatriates' welfare ministry suggested the prospective overseas jobseekers that they remain alert, as a section of middlemen have become active to allure them to send to Italy.
The Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment conveyed message on Wednesday in a press statement.
It has been learnt from different sources that various groups of middlemen have become active to allure the overseas job seekers who are interested to go to Italy under Flussi Decreto (flow decree), the statement said.
However, Italian government has recently announced to hire seasonal and non-seasonal foreign workers under the aforesaid arrangement. Bangladesh has also been included in the list of workers sending countries.
About the process of migration to Italy, the statement mentioned that at first the Italian employers will apply for no objection letter to their local DC office in Italy seeking recruitment of workers.
Employers will then send the no objection letter to the workers in Bangladesh. After that, the worker will apply for visas at Italy embassy in Dhaka. Workers will sign job contracts after reaching in Italy.
