Miscreants knife city school boy to death

A school student was stabbed to death by unknown miscreants in the capital's Shyampur area on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Nayan Islam (16), a student of Class IX at RK Chowdhury High School in the city's Postogola.

Shyampur plice said Nayan was found lying in a pool of blood in Balurmath area of Dholaipar around 2:30pm. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctor declared him dead at around 3:15pm.

Contacted, an official at Shyampur Police Station told the FE that they were looking into the matter.

The body was kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
