More firearms, ammo found in Habiganj jungle

The Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members Wednesday morning again recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition, including 112 high powered anti-tank rocket launchers along with 48 charges, from a jungle at Satchhari, near the Indian border, in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district, report agencies.
Rab headquarters sources said a Rab team comprising Rab-9 and Rab intelligence members conducted the drive in the jungle at Satchhari reserve forest and its surrounding areas and recovered the arms and ammunition.
All the firearms and ammunition were packed in containers.
Earlier, the Rab team recovered huge amounts of firearm and ammunition two times from the same forest.
On September 2, the elite force recovered nine SMG, one SNC, one beta gun, one auto rifle, six SLRs, two LMGs, one slipper stereoscope sight and 2,400 rounds of bullet from Satchhari reserve forest. All the firearms and ammunition were packed in containers.
On June 3, the elite force first recovered huge arms and ammunition from the Satchharhi reserve forest.
The recovered firearms included some 200 rocket launchers, huge anti-tank explosives, mortar shells, and chargers of rocket launchers.
