SM Shawon Mahmud and Md Mashiur Rahaman have been elected Chairman and Secretary respectively of the Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for the year 2025 in the 1st meeting of the 40th DBC held on Tuesday, says a press release.
Zillur Rahman and Md Zasim Uddin were elected Vice-Chairman and Treasurer respectively.
SM Shawon Mahmud is working as chief financial officer (CFO), Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited. He was the Treasurer of DBC in 2012, Secretary in 2014 and Vice-Chairman in 2016.
Zillur Rahman is working as GM, Finance & Accounts of the Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited.
Md Mashiur Rahaman is working as Additional Commissioner (Customs & VAT), First Secretary (VAT Policy), NBR, Dhaka.
Md Zasim Uddin is working as Executive Director (Finance & HR) and Company Secretary, Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC), an entity of ERD, Ministry of Finance.
